Erica Kelley felt like her high experience wasn’t quite traditional. She felt like she missed out on many opportunities due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Erica felt like she was able to appreciate the time she was able to have at school and how it was a struggle for everyone to do zoom and not being able to have more opportunities.

Kelley’s plan after high school is to go to CMU to study political science and journalism.

Erica’s hobbies include plants, paddle boarding and art. Kelley feels these are her top three hobbies out of all of them.

Kelley is looking forward to the independence and responsibilities of life after high school. She feels like her parents have always filtered her life and now she’s able to have her life in her own hands.
